Yulia: Because they shoot me and I am pregnant and this is very brutal. Our first idea was “against abortions.”
Lena: Our second… or generally speaking, our idea was “against violence.”
Yulia: Yes, against cruelty.

The debut single and video “Never Walk Away” from Troy Maccubbin was released on January 29th, 2008. Unfortunately because of events within AML and following the possible t.A.T.u. appearance at UCSB, we neglected to report it then. You can watch the video for “Never Walk Away” below. The single is a clash between pop/rock and features some light electro elements that t.A.T.u. fans are sure to enjoy. If you’d like to purchase Troy’s new single, a digital download is available on iTunes’ store for just $0.99. In addition, Troy’s site and MySpace have been updated with new pictures and information. Troy’s debut album is set to be released “very soon” according to his official site.

According to Russian Club Treasurer Corinne Seals, “We’re really excited to bring t.A.T.u. here because they are such a big name and they would further promote contemporary Russian culture,” Seals said. “Their performance will go along with our clubs overall theme.” The concert will take place on March 6 in the Hub and admission will be free for students at the UCSB. It is uncertain whether or not additional tickets may be purchased for additional non-student viewers since the Hub’s capacity is only 800 people. In addition, board member Paige Blatt said that “because of the size of the trip, it would be difficult to accommodate any more participants.”

Corinne Seals exclusively reveals to us, “I’m not really able to confirm anything at this point (sorry to dash any hopes). As the Nexus reported, a possible concert is in the works, and we would absolutely love to welcome t.A.T.u. Being a major fan of t.A.T.u myself, I understand how exciting this possibility is. However, we’re still discussing this on multiple levels with the parties, so I’d like to respect this process and t.A.T.u.’s camp by not really going into detail on this at this time. Once everything is confirmed, I will definitely be able to talk to you more.”

This time I visited a doctor. On the way back we checked one shop and – what a miracle! – I found a fur coat. And right my size. I’m tiny and my sizes are quickly sold out in shops. But this time I was lucky. Tomorrow we will definitely go and buy it. It’s great I’ve got time to do some personal things. The hard time is ahead: We’re releasing an “uncensored” version of the video “Beliy Plaschik.” There won’t be any hardcore violence, of course, but there’ll be something more impressive…

Yulia: I’m not. The new album “Waste Management” is out in spring. By “waste” we mean not only waste that disturbs normal people, but also negative emotions. Everyone should fight his inner negativity… We plan to shoot one more video, then concerts, promo-tour. A load of work.
